With her finances and career in tatters, Kerry Katona has turned to a familiar source for comfort – food.
The troubled reality star was spotted looking bloated and decidedly out of shape as she collected her daughters from school near her home in Warrington, Cheshire.
Her face appeared puffy and the button on her jacket seemed to be under strain.

The 29-year-old has resumed binge eating on junk food and calorie-laden curries in recent weeks, according to sources, which has resulted in rapid weight gain.

KERRY Katona has revealed she had her eldest daughters’ names tattooed on her wrists – to stop her killing herself.
Molly, eight, and Lilly Sue, six, are her children by former Westlife singer Brian McFadden.

Shamed ex-Atomic Kitten Kerry, 29, said: “My mum tried to commit suicide by slashing her wrists.

“If I ever felt that low, I know I’d look at my wrists, think of my girls and it would stop me.”

We told earlier this year how Kerry – also mum to Heidi, two, and Max, one – threatened to slash her wrists in the wake of her cocaine video scandal.

Exclusive Bankrupt Kerry Katona plans to ease her cash problems – by launching sunbed studios called Ka-Tan-As.

She is desperately seeking ways to earn money after losing her £290,000-a-year deal with store chain Iceland two months ago.

Kerry – a sunbed lover herself – was in her home town of Warrington yesterday to see how studios operate.

Exclusive Kerry Katona’s mum Sue has tearfully told how she has lost her home AND her daughter.

Heartbroken Sue, 51, will be left homeless on January 15, when the taxman seizes her home.

She and Kerry had a furious bust-up last month after the star, who bought her the terraced house but owes £500,000, refused to help her.

The £130,000 the property is worth will pay off some of Kerry’s debts.

Kerry Katona is reportedly in talks to appear on ITV1 comedy Benidorm.

The Mirror claims that Katona is ready to sign a deal with the show’s producers.

A source said: “They see Kerry as perfect to star in the show and she’s told her reps to make it happen. Kerry knows it may only be a small part but she’s hoping it could lead to bigger things, maybe becoming one of the main roles. Acting is something she’s always wanted to do.”
