Kerry Katona has issued a heartfelt apology following the shocking fly-on-the-wall documentary about her which aired on Channel 4 last week.

The reality star’s new image was dealt a crushing blow in Kerry and Me, after footage was shown of her slurring her words and shouting at her children.

It was filmed five months ago when, Kerry insists she was ‘so unwell’ and ‘in such a bad place in my life

Writing an open letter in this week’s OK! magazine, the 29-year-old mother-of-four said she didn’t know who ‘that woman’ in the documentary was because ‘it’s so far away from the person I am now.’

But admitting she needed to take responsibility, she wrote: ‘Even so I know that was still me and that I have to take responsibility for that.

‘I am just so grateful that my manager Claire Powell threw me the lifeline I so desperately needed and gave me the chance to change my life for good.’

LOATHSOME layabout Mark Croft is threatening to sell SEX videos of his estranged wife Kerry Katona-as punishment for this week’s shocking TV documentary about the couple.

Miffed Mark has been phoning and texting Kerry since Thursday’s show, claiming he will give the tapes to the highest bidder.

If he can’t find a buyer he insists he will post them on the internet himself. The disgraced dad is furious that footage of him roaring at daughter Heidi, three, was broadcast on Channel 4′s Kerry and Me.

And he holds Kerry responsible for letting the cameras into their then marital home.Last night a pal of the former cabbie said: “He has been bouncing off the walls since the show was aired.

KERRY Katona smiled as she headed out in a pretty floral dress – despite the TV documentary she tried to get blocked airing.

The reality TV star showed her style revamp is still very much in full swing in the mini frock as she visited a beauty salon in West Sussex yesterday.

But last night Channel 4 documentary Kerry and Me – which showed the mum-of-four shouting at her kids and slurring her speech in the wake of her split from Mark Croft in February – went ahead in spite of her protests.

The former Atomic Kitten was shown during her lowest ebb, after she’d admitted taking drugs at her former Wilmslow home and losing control of her life.

But she put on a brave face yesterday as she was pampered near her new country mansion.

Kerry has made no secret of the fact she is desperate to shed her old image and is now a regular on the London party scene.

She was being preened in preparation for Elton John’s charity bash at his Windsor estate last night.

Kerry Katona’s new image may receive a shocking blow after a TV documentary set to air this week will show undesirable footage of the star.

The programme, Kerry And Me, was filmed in February this year when Katona was at her worst and shows the slurring reality TV star shouting at her children alongside her estranged husband Mark Croft.

Now that she’s trying to get her life back on track, she’s apparently terrified this will remind everyone of ‘the old Kerry’

The Channel 4 film shows the 29-year-old crying, chain smoking and slurring her words and at one point even yelling at her children: ‘You miserable bunch, you think you’ve got problems in life!’

Croft, 39, also joins in on the rant when their three-year-old daughter Heidi is unable to find her school shoes and yells: ‘I’m just about to smash your head in.’

SHE used to be an Atomic Kitten-yesterday Kerry Katona joined the Three Lions as she donned an England shirt for a family barbecue.

The slimmed-down star, 29, was also spotted fixing a St George’s flag to a window at her £4,000-a-month rented barn conversion in Godstone, Surrey.

New boyfriend Adam Waldron, 33, wore an England shirt too as he fired up the barbecue.
