In the past year Kerry Katona has completely turned her life around – ending a failing marriage, moving house and completely overhauling her image.

And in a symbolic sign of her fresh start, the mother-of-four has now slashed off her long hair for a very grown-up new look.

The smiling reality TV star revealed the daring new hairstyle today after a late-night trip to the salon

In place of Kerry’s previous long style, which she often wore tied back in a ponytail, was a short bob, slightly longer at the front.

After having her hair cut last night, she returned to have it coloured at the award-winning Daniel Galvin in London today.

Kerry Katona is being in being tipped to make a sensational return as the face of the food outlet Iceland.

The I’m A Celebrity star is reportedly in talks with bosses to make her TV return next year.

Katona will be thrilled to regain her contract after she was declared bankrupt in 2008.

The 30-year-old had her £250,000-a-year Iceland contract terminated last year after she was allegedly filmed snorting cocaine.

The food giant bosses felt that they may face a backlash from customers if they kept featuring the troubled star.

Kerry has been the face of of the frozen food chain for four years and filmed adverts using the slogan “Mum’s gone to Iceland”.

Iceland are now keen to sign the mum-of-four up again after she has managed to get her life back on track and overcome her drug and alcohol addiction.

Speaking about Kerry’s possible return, a source told the Daily Star: “Kerry is an absolute miracle. She has proved she can be a success despite everything.

“In the last few months she has gone from a desperate addict to a good mum who has really cleaned up her act.”

An Iceland spokeswoman said last night: “There is no-one available to comment.”

KERRY Katona’s new romance has fizzled out after her hunky kickboxer got cold feet.

The gorgeous babe, who met Scott Gibson through a dating website, was left heartbroken when he failed to show up at her 30th birthday party.

Kerry was prepared to forgive Scott, 29, for standing her up and was hoping he would make it up to her with a sizzling birthday romp last week.

But we can reveal that Scott has decided the blonde mum of four is not for him – leaving Kerry devastated.

The romance was not helped by the fact that Kerry turned up with a camera crew to film their first date.
And, with all the publicity surrounding her lavish birthday bash, the martial arts expert realised he did not want to be thrust into the limelight by dating Kerry.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Star Sunday: “Scott called Kerry just hours before her party to say he wouldn’t be able to make it.

“He told her he had come down with a bug but would make it up to her later in the week.

“Kerry was gutted but there was nothing she could do about it. They were due to meet up last week but it never happened.

“They only went on one date but that was stressful enough as Kerry turned up with a camera crew. Scott had no idea he was talking to Kerry when they first met on the lonely hearts website as she used a false name.

“It was all going really well between them until news of their romance got out.

“These last couple of weeks have been pretty stressful for Scott and he didn’t like his personal life being in the spotlight.

“He realised that dating Kerry was never going to be a private affair so things have just fizzled out between them.

“Kerry is upset as she really liked him but she’s determined that her thirties will be a lot different to her twenties so she’s putting a brave face on it all.”

Twice married Kerry started seeing Scott just weeks after dumping decorator Adam Waldron, 33.

She split from second husband Mark Croft in February.

The reality TV star and former singer walked the red carpet in the slinky beaded frock on what was her 30th birthday.

Smiling for the crowds, Kerry was on sparkly form and showed off her curves in the figure-hugging dress. Her hair was in a swinging ponytail with a sexy blunt fringe.

Kerry will have a proper birthday bash at her Surrey home at the weekend. But it seems she wanted to share this milestone birthday with the crowds – and she didn’t let them down.

But Kerry Katona appeared to have settled for the first option as she breezed into London today, looking ready to party and mark reaching that all-important milestone.

Former `I’m A Celebrity…’ star Kerry Katona has allegedly turned down the chance to return to This Morning over fears that she may have another “meltdown”, a report has claimed.

Sources told a tabloid newspaper that the troubled 29-year-old has been invited back “for a chat” on the daytime show.

An insider told the Daily Star that Kerry is “still haunted” by her “meltdown” on the show in 2008.

A source close to the star said: “Kerry has really cleaned up her act and is in major demand.

“She is on the front page of newspapers and magazines every day and has really turned her life around.

“But right now, she wants to make sure she is settled and 100% happy before she starts doing TV interviews and appearances.

“Kerry wanted to spend the summer with her kids and enjoy some relaxation before the real hard work begins.

“There are some exciting announcements coming up and Kerry has a long career ahead of her.”
