She’s never really been considered a fashion icon, with several wardrobe mishaps under her belt since she shot to fame as part of Atomic Kitten.

But now Kerry Katona has added another string to her bow, becoming a catwalk queen as she took to the runway to launch Liverpool Fashion Week.

The 30-year-old star wore a series of sexy minidresses from clothing line Glam Boutique on the catwalk, smiling widely as she made the most of her moment in the fashion limelight.

And she wasn’t the only one who was enjoying the event, as her mother Sue was watching from the balcony at Liverpool’s Bambooo club proudly, taking photographs of her daughter to commemorate the occasion.

She previously described her new phoenix tattoo as a metaphor for her ‘rising from the ashes’ following her split from husband Mark Croft.

And it seems Kerry Katona is so proud of her new inking, which was designed specifically to cover up the previous tattoo of Mark’s name, she is choosing outfits which will show it off to its best advantage.

The 30-year-old star opted for a one-shouldered black dress which drew attention to the huge phoenix as she enjoyed a girls’ night out in Warrington on Wednesday night.

As well as showing off her new inking, Kerry is clearly keen to highlight her recent weight loss, and has been wearing a series of tight outfits to flaunt her trim new figure.

And this week’s night out was no different, as Kerry looked svelte and toned in the black dress with white trim, which she teamed with black thigh-high boots.

KERRY Katona’s new bloke used to be a STRIPPER, the Daily Star can reveal.

The ex Atomic Kitten, 30, is said to be “very close” with Peter Andre’s tour manager, Carl Machin. And we can reveal Carl once performed as part of musical strip act Menergy, dubbed “the low rent Chippendales”.

The four-strong group used to strip for cash and perform raunchy dance moves across the country in the Nineties.

They also released cheesy pop single I’ve Never Been In Love Before.

Just weeks after showcasing a new blonde crop which drew attention to her newly-slim face and trendy style, Kerry Katona has been to the hairdressers yet again, to add a heavy fringe to the new ‘do.

The 30-year-old star displayed the new style as she popped to the local shops in Warrington, Cheshire, yesterday.

Wearing a printed vest top and slightly odd stonewashed jeans, Kerry highlighted her incredibly slim new figure in the summery outfit as she smiled for photographers.

And a fringe wasn’t the only addition that Kerry showed off on her trip out.

The low back of her navy vest top displayed the mother-of-four’s new phoenix tattoo – a huge inking she had to cover the tattoo of her ex-husband Mark Croft’s name which was previously on her upper back.

Kerry Katona is getting a little helping hand to keep herself svelte since losing weight in her new lifestyle regime.

The former Atomic Kitten star ditched the kebabs earlier this year, went to bootcamp then hired a personal trainer – leaving her a shadow of her former self.

But now she’s been spotted leaving the Bodyline clinic in Stockport with her mum Sue after having skin tightening on her tumm

However, following her pampering session, the mother of four headed to Bargain Booze and bought a bottle of German spirit Jägermeister – possibly not the best choice of drink to maintain her healthy glow.

Kerry Katona’s new cropped bob is doing wonders for her image and the revamped star radiated on a girls night out with a flurry of blondes.

The reality TV star took her pals out in Warrington last night for a chance to show off her sophisticated new style in a little black dress and heels.

Despite having battled a number of issues in her personal life, the 30-year-old looked as though she hadn’t a care in the world as she strolled down the street laughing

Warrington is the mother-of-four’s hometown and reports have often said that she’s eager to return to Cheshire after struggling to adjust to her new life in the south.

The star now lives in Surrey and has recently started filming her new reality TV show in the area, which will follow her as she attempts to re-launch her career.
