Dan Foden admits he split up with reality star Kerry Katona over Easter because he hated her lifestyle.

Kerry, 30, and Dan first stepped out together last month, but the Take Me Out contestant called time on the relationship because he’d had enough of Kerry’s ‘showbiz bubble’.

‘Kerry’s world is just too mad,’ says Dan, 28.

The former Atomic Kitten star was hoping he’d be a new father figure to children Molly, 9, Lily Sue, 8, Heidi, 4, and Max, 3 – but Dan just wanted to date, he didn’t feel ready to play dad.

‘Kerry’s always been desperate for a strong family unit,’ says Now’s source.

‘Especially with her ex Mark Croft being as erratic as he is.’

Now, despite their brief liaison, Dan’s hoping for a career in the media.

‘He’s told friends he wants to get modelling and personal appearance work and maybe a column,’ reveals our insider.

‘He keeps talking about how Alex Reid raised his profile during his marriage to Jordan.’

Take Me Out contestant Dan Foden has broken up with Kerry Katona after becoming uncomfortable with the “showbiz bubble” in which he has been thrust.

The 27-year-old had only started seeing 30-year-old Kerry a few weeks ago.

However the chartered surveyor told Reveal magazine that the constant filming of her new reality TV show put a strain on the relationship.

He said: “Kerry’s world is just too mad. She’s a lovely girl but I can’t live in that showbiz bubble.”

“When we were on our own, inside the four walls, things were great. We have a similar sense of humour and had a good laugh.

Dan added: “I think she’s a great girl but it’s a total clash of worlds and I couldn’t see it working out.”

Kerry Katona is close to making a ‘musical’ comeback with Swedish chart-topper Basshunter, according to a red top.

The former Atomic Kitten member – who famously admitted she didn’t sing on any of the girl-band’s hits – will add her vocals to new track ‘You’re Not Alone’, reports the Sunday Mirror.

A ‘source’ told the newspaper that the pair are close to signing a deal to release the single, which they believe will be a “2011 version of David Guetta and ‘s ‘When Love Takes Over’.”

Former rehab queen Kerry Katona has reached out to troubled Catherine Zeta Jones in her hour of need, saying: “Call me.”

The Hollywood beauty, 41, checked into a mental hospital last week after struggling to deal with her bipolar II disorder.

Now Kezza, 30, who suffers from the mood-swing condition as well, thinks she could help Catherine recover.

Kerry Katona has reached a “comprehensive agreement” over the custody of her children with her estranged husband.

The reality TV star has a daughter Heidi, three, and two-year-old son Max with Mark Croft and the separated couple have come to an amicable arrangement over the care of the two kids.

In a joint statement, the pair – who split in February 2010 – said they had “reached a comprehensive agreement in relation to the arrangements for their children” and that Heidi and Max’s “main home” will be with Kerry but they will have “regular time” with Mark.

KERRY Katona is celebrating winning custody of her two youngest children by going on holiday with her new lover.

Kerry Katona told friends she is looking ­forward to a week-long love fest with Dan Foden, 27, to wipe memories of her doomed marriage to Mark Croft.

The mum-of-four plans to leave the ­youngsters with her mum Sue Katona for the week and head for the sun.

Mark, 40, was told by the court last week he can only see Heidi, four, and Maxwell, two, twice a month on two-hour visits ­supervised by a social worker.

KERRY Katona looked like she was morphing into Justin Bieber today – after declaring that she is preparing for her musical comeback.

The reality TV star sported the same short bowl cut that the 17-year-old pop prince was known for before getting a shorter crop last month.

Kerry, 30, who seemed happy with her boyish ‘do on ITV1′s Lorraine, told yesterday how she is planning to relaunch her pop career.

Speaking at the screening of the second series of Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter, the mum-of-four said: “I’ve been offered a few music things that I can’t go into detail about.

“But something will be happening. It will be me solo which I’m quite nervous about because it has been ten years.

“I’m just going to give it a go. I’m really excited because I miss performing.

“People forget I was known for being a singer and that’s how I started my career off – though it’s probably what’s going to end it!”

She left Atomic Kitten ten years ago – and later admitted she couldn’t sing to save her life.
