She might be famous for doing absolutely nothing – but that hasn’t stopped Kerry Katona’s career sinking to new depths.

The former Atomic Kitten singer has been saved from a potential nosedive after teaming up with Max Clifford for the second time.

A fortnight ago, it looked like Kerry’s run in the limelight was over and she would be heading for the Job Centre after her agent dropped her.

CAN Associates, which is run by Claire Powell, ended their working relationship with the troubled reality TV star on June 16

But having parted ways with her management and admitting to feeling ‘isolated’ down South, Kerry Katona is packing her bags and moving home.

The reality TV star is set to move back North to make a fresh start after she and CAN Associates ended their working relationship

And she has turned to her former PR Max Clifford for advice on starting over and pursuing an acting career.

Kerry Katona escaped eviction last night after ex-manager Claire Powell paid her rent for another month.

However, the reality TV star – who once earned ­ £2million a year – is still financially in a “real mess”, according to PR guru and close friend Max Clifford.

Kerry had been having her £5,000-a-month rent on her Surrey home paid for by her management company Can Associates.

But last week Kerry was dumped by manager Claire after she reportedly lost patience with the star’s drinking and her wish to return to Warrington.

Kerry claimed she was going to be left homeless at 5pm last night.

However, at the 11th hour, Claire agreed to pay Kerry’s rent for one more month to allow the 30-year-old to have a chance of sorting herself out.

Max Clifford told This Morning: “Claire has done a very very good job for her management-wise and no, she wasn’t made homeless at 5pm yesterday.

“Conversations have gone on and Claire has agreed that the rent will be paid for another month to give her time to sort out where she’s got to go.

“Obviously her children are all in school down here and are all settled and doing very well down here so hopefully common sense will somehow come in to this, but financially she’s in a real mess with the bankrupts and the split-up in her management.”

He continued: “The bad news is that her finances are in a real mess. And the fact that her manager Claire and her partner have split up and she has somehow got caught up in the middle of that.

“The good thing is she came to see me last week, she’s looking really healthy, she’s really happy, she’s facing up to her problems, the kids are a joy to behold – as a little mum you can’t criticise her for what she’s done with no help from Brian McFadden and no help from Mark Croft, she’s done that on her own.

“She hasn’t taken drugs, she promises me, she had a drugs test in my office last week to show to everybody, so that’s the good news.”

On the split from Can, Max added: “The split basically is the split between Claire and her partner who ran Can Associates, so there was Neville on the TV side and Claire on the management side, so they’ve fallen out and she’s [Kerry] is in the middle.”

Kerry Katona has revealed that she will become homeless at the end of today.

The reality star had been living in a £5,000-a-month rented home in Surrey, paid for by her managers at Can Associates.

However, Katona parted ways with the company earlier this month and has now been told to leave the property by the end of today.

“I’ve been told I must be out of the house by 5pm even though I don’t have another place to go to,” she told the News of the World. “I’ve got just £400 left in my bank account, which is very scary because I need to put food in my children’s bellies.

“On top of that I owe my former management about £350,000. I can’t praise them enough for rescuing me from the terrible situation I was in last year when I was battling drugs and bankruptcy. They took control – paid for my home, my nanny, my mobile phone.

“Most of what I earned went straight towards paying off my bankruptcy – and I was only ever given pocket money by them. I am still bankrupt, despite working my butt off for the last 17 months.”

She added that she is so desperate she’s turned to ex-husband and the father of two of her children Brian McFadden for help, but is still waiting for a reply.

CONTRARY to recent press reports, I was not ‘dumped’ by Can Associates.

It was my decision to leave! On a professional level my career was taking a direction that I didn’t want, and on a personal level I felt that my integrity had been compromised.

But I have not taken any drugs in the last year and a half – and if anyone claims otherwise, I will sue.

I also didn’t snub Amy Childs’ 21st birthday like it was reported.

I was out with my therapist so I couldn’t go! I only had a few glasses of champagne and the papers made out I was bladdered, which annoyed me.

They took a picture of me with my head in my bag so it looked like I was being sick, but I was honestly just looking for my ticket!

BRIAN McFadden has a new Irish reality TV star girlfriend called Vogue Williams.

She looks pretty and is about his height! I don’t know much about her but Molly has been to the cinema with her, though she doesn’t know if they’re serious boyfriend and girlfriend or not. When you split up with anyone, you always go for a rebound thing but I just hope he’s happy.

Kerry Katona today headed up to Warrington to get some support from her mother in the wake of her split from celebrity agent Claire Powell.

The 30-year-old star dressed down in a T-shirt and jogging bottoms, keeping her eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses, as she and daughter Lilly visited the singer’s mother Sue.

The former Atomic Kitten star was pictured lugging a suitcase around with her eight-year-old daughter and was earlier photographed jogging around her home-town looking deep in thought

The star often goes back to Warrington, where she grew up, in times of crisis. Her daughter Molly, nine, and children with ex Mark Croft, Heidi, four, and Max, three, did not appear to be present on the trip.

Kerry was reportedly dropped by her management company because of recent wild parties in Marbella, according to News of the World.

Katona was dropped from CAN Associates last week after allegedly missing a regular doping test requested by her agent Claire Powell.

A friend of the reality TV star said: “It’s as if there’s a monster inside her which leads her towards self-destruction. And that monster seems to be back.”

The newspaper has printed photos of Katona dancing on tables with Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown in Marbella earlier this month.

The management split may lose Katona her OK! magazine column and £1 million in other deals. Since Katona breached her contract, CAN are also reportedly demanding that the reality TV star gives back the rent payments and school fees they paid on her behalf.

The friend added: “It is so tragic. She’d just turned her life around. She got off drugs and she was getting closer to clearing her bankruptcy. She now owes Claire thousands and thousands of pounds but has nobody lining up any work.

“And all she wants to do is go out and get trashed.”

Speaking about the nights out in Spain, an insider revealed: “She was clearly out of control. She was trying to grope everyone and even went to the toilet with the door wide open.”

“It wasn’t comfortable to watch her in that sort of state. At one point Kerry ended up vomiting. She did the same thing on a night out back in London this week.

“For a long time Claire had been drug testing Kerry on a fortnightly basis to ensure she was off drugs. But they both gave up because all Kerry wanted to do was go out and party.”

Katona denied rumours that she had been dropped because she had returned to using drugs, adding that she left on her own accord.

The management company, who also represent Peter Andre, Amy Childs and Elen Rivas, confirmed today they had ended their working relationship with Kerry but failed to give any reason.

In a statement they said: ‘We can confirm that we no longer manage Kerry Katona.’

And already it seems nobody else wants to take the wayward mum-of-three under their wing as the company rumoured to be snapping her up, Mayah Consultancy, took to their Twitter account, to protest: ‘We’ve been inundated with calls regarding Kerry Katona. We are NOT representing her. We hope this will put an end to the rumours.’

Kerry’s snub from CAN comes just days after pictures emerged of the hard-partying star looking more than a little worse for wear on a night out with friend in London.

Though CAN failed to say why they parted ways with the troubled star, it has since been reported that they had decided enough was enough after the six-hour session on Wednesday night which saw her falling all over the place as her friend tried to support her.

On her wild night out, which also saw her snub an invitation to fellow CAN client Amy Child’s party, she wore pin-striped shorts, a white vest top and a cropped denim waistcoat.

Arriving at Langham Brasserie in Mayfair at 8pm with friends, she didn’t leave the restaurant until 2am when she emerged looking slightly tipsy.

In addition to her frivolous antics, the Daily Mail also report that Kerry’s agents were fed up with her lack of efforts towards resurrecting her failing career.

It seems this latest hiccup in the former Atomic Kitten star’s rocky life could spell the end of her career.

CAN agreed to manage Katona in March last year just after she had split from her second husband Mark Croft, was declared bankrupt and had been caught on camera taking cocaine.

Sending her to a string of high-profile parties, CAN, which is managed by Claire Powell, gave her a new image and seemed to be helping her on the road to recovery.

As well as a new wardrobe, new hairdo, new home and a new exercise regime, she landed two series of her ITV2 documentary Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter as well as a stint on ITV show Dancing On Ice.

Her public profile is sure to take a nosedive as well seeing as her regular pals on nights out were made up of CAN clients Andre and Childs.

And Kerry can also wave goodbye to all of those lucrative front-page splashes for OK! magazine that she often did with dad-of-three Pete, courtesy of CAN.
