Kerry Katona has laughed off claims she is pregnant with her fifth child.

A Twitter page attributed to the former pop star announced yesterday that she was ‘shocked but over the moon’ to discover she was seven weeks pregnant.

But as fans congratulated her one the news, agents for the 29-year-old said she was ‘definitely not’ expecting.

Today she took great enjoyment in the whole hoax as she play-acted to photographers, holding her back in the snow as if she were heavily pregnant

Nothing is ever straightforward, however, in Katona’s world – and it would surprise no one if the rumours did turn out to be true.

She arrived home back from self-imposed fat camp in Kent early after apparently failing to lose any weight.

Mother-of-four Katona has two children from her marriage to Croft, one-year-old Max and two-year-old Heidi, plus daughters Lily-Sue, seven and Molly, nine, from her relationship with Westlife star Brian McFadden.

The Twitter page, which claimed to be written by Katona, was updated last night to read: ‘I had to leave cos I found out that me and Mark are having another baby!

‘Yep!!! We are dead shocked but OVER THE MOON!’

It was later removed by the site.

Last year saw the once slender Katona balloon to a size 16 after piling on the pounds.

She had vowed to lose the weight this year, by signing up for a diet and fitness camp, but dropped out after just a few days.

The Twitter account claimed she had done so after finding out she was expecting.

Any new baby would not help Katona’s financial woes.

Just last week, it was reported that Kerry and her children are facing the threat of homelessness after she was presented with a repossession order for her luxury Cheshire home.

She is believed to have failed to keep up with the mortgage payments on the £1.5million Wilmslow mansion.

She planned to balance the books with a £250,000 appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. But Kerry apparently failed the psychiatrist assessment, which is compulsory for any prospective housemate.

The star has been in financial dire straits since she was made bankrupt last year after failing to deliver the final £82,000 of a £417,000 tax bill.

Kerry squandered thousands of pounds on sports cars for husband Mark Croft, but lost her £290,000-a-year deal as the face of Iceland stores after a cocaine scandal.
