Kerry Katona ‘wept tears of joy’ when she found out she had a stepmother, half-sister and two half-brothers she never knew about.

So it was no surprise to see the star beaming with happiness as she met up with her long-lost family in Wigan yesterday.

Kerry, who took her children with her for the family day out, only found out about her siblings when she used a detective agency to track down her long-lost father Ron last year.

However, before Kerry could arrange to meet Ron for the first time, he died.

But despite her biological father’s tragic death aged 62, Kerry has continued to have a close relationship with her siblings, who have always maintained they don’t care that former Atomic Kitten star Kerry is famous.

Ron’s daughter Lynsey, 34, said: ‘It makes no difference that Kerry is a celebrity to us. If she is our sister then she is our sister – and she will be welcome here into the family.’

After the busy day, Kerry left her tired children at home to go and see a Peter Andre concert at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall.

It was the second time Kerry has gone to see the singer perform this month.

Kerry has just signed on with Andre’s management team, Can Associates, who took her on under strict conditions.

She has agreed to undergoing weekly drugs tests to prove she is off cocaine and to avoid all contact with estranged husband Mark Croft

Claire Powell, who also managed Katie Price until her split from Andre, told the Sun: ‘Kerry knows this is her last chance.

‘There will be no drugs and no Mark. She has signed a legal document agreeing to that.

‘Kerry approached me six months ago to take her on but I refused while Mark was still around.

‘I do not believe he has been a positive influence on her. If she is prepared to work hard and stay clean she has a great career ahead of her.
