She’s been on a long and winding road to get back on her feet.

But Kerry Katona finally looks to have rejuvenated herself, not only physically, but socially – attending Elton John’s glitzy White Tie and Tiara Ball at his home in Windsor.

The 29-year-old was among guests at the A-list do, alongside Peter Andre, and she looked great in a flowing, strapless white gown with silver detailing

The reality star had her hair styled in such a way that accentuated her face, showing that she has lost a significant amount of weight since her dark days. 

Also present with Kerry and Peter was their manager at Can Associates, Claire Powell, and Peter’s brother Michael. 

Her appearance at the event, held annually to raise money for Elton John’s AIDS foundation, marked Kerry’s dramatic turnaround.

And coincidentally, her outing occured at the same time as a documentary starring the ‘old Kerry’ was broadcast. 

The programme, entitled Kerry and Me, was filmed in February this year when Kerry was at her lowest and showed her slurring and shouting at her children alongside her estranged husband Mark Croft.

Prior to broadcast she was said to have been terrified that the show would remind everyone of her previous incarnation, just as she’s trying to get her life back on track.

After he split from Croft, 39, she left her home in Warrington, Cheshire, and moved south to West Sussex after signing up with Peter Andre’s management team, Can Associates.

The company allegedly tried to stop the film being aired but the documentary was still screened last night on C4 at 10pm.

Manager Claire Powell told the Mail: ‘The reason we were trying to stop the documentary being screened is because Kerry only signed a release form but she did not sign a contract.’

The Channel 4 film showed Kerry crying, chain smoking and slurring her words and at one point even yelling at her children: ‘You miserable bunch, you think you’ve got problems in life!’

Croft also joined in on the rant when their three-year-old daughter Heidi is unable to find her school shoes and yells: ‘I’m just about to smash your head in.’

This was followed by Kerry shouting at their eight-year-old daughter Molly: ‘Shut your face or I’ll knock you out.’

The mother-of-four is also seen dancing around the kitchen while Molly, Lilly-Sue, seven, Heidi and Maxwell, two, are eating their breakfast.
