Kerry Katona’s new cropped bob is doing wonders for her image and the revamped star radiated on a girls night out with a flurry of blondes.

The reality TV star took her pals out in Warrington last night for a chance to show off her sophisticated new style in a little black dress and heels.

Despite having battled a number of issues in her personal life, the 30-year-old looked as though she hadn’t a care in the world as she strolled down the street laughing

Warrington is the mother-of-four’s hometown and reports have often said that she’s eager to return to Cheshire after struggling to adjust to her new life in the south.

The star now lives in Surrey and has recently started filming her new reality TV show in the area, which will follow her as she attempts to re-launch her career.

And along with her new life, came the new hair-do, which some reports say was due to hair extensions having ruined her long locks.

A source close to Kerry told the Daily Star that the former Atomic Kitten’s hair had allegedly been falling out and was told if she didn’t take drastic action, she could end up going bald.

‘Kerry was absolutely mortified. And with Dancing On Ice coming up there was no way she could take the risk of having any more problems with her hair’, the source said.

The ITV1 skating show kicks off early in 2011 and Kerry is determined to give it her all and be crowned the ‘Queen of the Ice’.

And by the looks of her new image and positive outlook, she seems ready to take on the challenge
