She’s always had a very public battle with her weight so was delighted to see it all fall off as she trained for Dancing On Ice.

But just weeks after being voted off the celebrity talent show, Kerry Katona has gained a stone after comfort eating on takeaways and junk food.

The reality TV star stuck to a strict diet in order to get fit and in shape for the show but was booted off the show by a unanimous judges’ decision three weeks ago

And in just that short pace of time, she has gone from a size eight to a size ten after turning to curries, crisps and chocolate for comfort, according to the Star today.

A shoulder injury which she suffered in training the week she was voted off means she has been unable to burn off the extra calories.

And being voted off and being in a lot of pain has reportedly left Kerry feeling low which has made her turn to comfort eating.

Friends are also concerned for her well-being, especially with the custody battle with ex-husband Mark Croft looming.

Speaking to the paper, a close friend of 30-year-old Kerry said: ‘She had been eating like a sparrow for months but now she’s back on the beef curries and is eating crisps, chocolate and sweets to cheer herself up.

‘Just as things seem to be going well for her, something always seems to go wrong.’

Kerry has been seeing the Dancing On Ice physio since succumbing to the injury and had been given cortisone injections to reduce the pain.

But friends said she is also hoping that the injury means that she won’t be able to skate in the show finale later this month.

The source added: ‘Kerry loved Dancing On Ice but now she’s been voted off she feels like she wants to move on.

‘She hoped to win the show but found it much more difficult than she thought.

‘Kerry knows skating isn’t her strong point and can’t face looking less talented than the other contestants.

‘She’s hoping her injury means she won’t have to get her skates on again.’
