Kerry Katona played the dutiful daughter today as she helped her mother move out of home.
In order to settle her debts estimated at around £500,000, the former pop star is having to sell the terraced house in Warrington, Cheshire, that she bought for Sue.
And as soon as they drove away, a pick-up truck laden with ‘For Let’ and ‘For Sale’ signs pulled up outside
Mum-of-four Katona and her mother have not always seen eye to eye – the former girlband star blamed her for introducing her to drugs.
They also fell out after Kerry accused her of selling a series of stories to tabloid newspapers.
However, as their relationship thawed, Katona bought the house for £37,500 in 2001 with her earnings from Atomic Kitten.
When Sue learned she would have to move out – tomorrow is the official eviction day – she ranted: ‘I never expected that my own daughter would see me on the streets but it’s going to happen – and very soon.
‘Kerry’s ruined her life and now she’s ruined mine.’
But the pair seemed happy enough about the relocation today as they posed for photographers before heading back to Katona’s £1.5m pad in nearby Wilmslow.
At first it seemed that Katona had hoped to save a bit of extra cash by doing her own cleaning, arriving in what looked at first glance to be a pair of Marigolds.
However on closer inspection they appeared to be simply yellow gloves.
Katona had hoped to delay such a drastic move by entering the Big Brother house for a mooted £250,000 but that fell through when she failed a psychiatric test.
Despite earning millions over the last eight years, the reality TV star owes £497,982.83 to the taxman.
Katona’s money woes began when she lost her lucrative £290,000-a-year-contract with supermarket chain Iceland after she was pictured snorting cocaine.
She has since had a dust-up with her accountant, seen the collection of luxury cars assembled by husband Mark Croft, 39, whittled back and even now the couple are in the middle of a legal wrangle with the former cabbie’s mother, Marilyn.
