Her money and fame allowed him to live a life of luxury, even giving up work as a cab driver.

But Kerry Katona’s estranged husband Mark Croft has finally proved her faith in him was misplaced – admitting he betrayed her throughout their marriage.

The 39-year-old cashed in on her popularity by taking cash from the paparazzi to reveal her location. He even revealed details of the emotional first meeting between Kerry and her birth father’s children.

‘When I did earn money by tipping people off she went mad,’ he told the News Of The World. ‘I would tell photographers where she was going and get paid for it.

‘Kerry went mental when she found out – but it didn’t stop me, I don’t feel guilty.

‘She said: “Don’t f***** do this to me. It makes me look stupid.” I told her we get stuff out of it.

‘It is a bit sh***y but it was worth a few hundred quid. If I hadn’t done it somebody else would have done.

Throughout their two-and-a-half year marriage 29-year-old Kerry continually stood up for Croft against his critics, refusing to listen to any criticism.

Now he says: ‘I believe that she is used goods. Divorce is inevitable.’

The couple have two young children together along with Kerry’s two older daughters from her first marriage.

But Croft said he wouldn’t be seeking custody. ‘I think kids should be with their mum,’ he said.

He even admitted that he would taunt his wife, who suffers from bipolar disorder, until she lost her temper.

‘I could push it to the limit,’ he said. ‘I know how to wind her up to the point she would start screaming at me.’

But rather than taking the blame for the end of their marriage, Croft claims Kerry is having an affair with a sports instructor she met at a weight loss bootcamp.

He said he had already taken back her wedding and engagement rings, admitting: ‘I hate her.’
