Kerry Katona’s husband Mark Croft is alleged to have spent a staggering £1million on flash cars and motor bikes in just one year.

The39-year-old bought a series of expensive motors before selling them on, it was claimed.

But Kerry’s former accountant David McHugh, who she was arrested on suspicion of assaulting, says the money from the sales never appeared on the books.

‘In one year alone Mark Croft spent about £1m on flash cars and motorbikes. He’d buy a Ferrari for £200,000, then a few months later trade it in for a £90,000 Porsche,’ he told the Daily Star.

‘The cars were changed every other week. They went through Porsches, Ferraris, Aston Martins, Range Rovers, Mercedes, Lamborghinis, BMWs.

‘You name it, they had it. But when they were sold the money never appeared on their books.’

Asked about the allegations, a spokesman for Katona told Mail Online: ‘I do not discuss my client’s financial details. It’s a private matter and it’s not a matter for the Press.’

Kerry was seen leaving her Cheshire home today with Croft with an MTV camera crew in tow filming scenes for her reality show.

The 28-year-old was thought to be meeting up with her ex Brian McFadden, who arrived into Britain yesterday from Australia for a showdown with her over the custody of their two children Molly, seven and Lily Sue, six.

Sources say the mother-of-four fears she could lose custody after photographs were published in a Sunday newspaper of her snorting cocaine, for which she was given a police caution.

The acrimonious star lost her £250,000 Iceland deal following the publication of the pictures.

She is currently on police bail after being arrest last week after allegedly assaulting 51-year-old McHugh at his offices in Warrington, Cheshire.

The former Atomic Kitten star allegedly flew into a furious and violent rage as she accused him of ‘destroying’ her financially after discovering she has ‘barely two pennies to rub together,’ The Sun reported.

McHugh claimed the troubled reality star left him bruised and shaken after flying into violent rage.

He told the Daily Star: ‘She was screaming, “You’re a f*****g liar”. She pushed all my papers across the desk and a cup of hot tea went flying over me.’

He further claimed the star had stormed into her office with her ‘eyes rolling’ before bellowing at him ‘I’ll cut your f*****g legs off’.

Kerry’s spokesman has insisted these reports are untrue.

Mr McHugh was jailed for two years in 2002 for his part in a £3.5m fraud.

But he claims he had completely rehabilitated himself and is ’100% straight’’.

Kerry and Mark, of Wilmslow, Cheshire, reportedly owe Mr McHugh’s company Touchstone Legal almost £20,000 for his services
