She previously described her new phoenix tattoo as a metaphor for her ‘rising from the ashes’ following her split from husband Mark Croft.

And it seems Kerry Katona is so proud of her new inking, which was designed specifically to cover up the previous tattoo of Mark’s name, she is choosing outfits which will show it off to its best advantage.

The 30-year-old star opted for a one-shouldered black dress which drew attention to the huge phoenix as she enjoyed a girls’ night out in Warrington on Wednesday night.

As well as showing off her new inking, Kerry is clearly keen to highlight her recent weight loss, and has been wearing a series of tight outfits to flaunt her trim new figure.

And this week’s night out was no different, as Kerry looked svelte and toned in the black dress with white trim, which she teamed with black thigh-high boots.

However, all the attention was the new etching on Kerry’s upper back.

And the mother-of-four’s new blonde bob hairstyle also meant the phoenix tattoo could clearly be seen.

Speaking recently about the tattoo, Kerry said: ‘It’s a massive phoenix with wings and flames on it.

‘It took 4 hours and it hurt so much that it’s still not finished!

‘The phoenix stands for rising from the ashes, new beginnings and change, which is exactly what I want right now!

‘Mark has finally gone and this is a new beginning for me.’

Kerry also enjoyed some male attention on her evening out, meeting up with several friends while she was making the most of the Warrington nightlife
