WHEN it comes to dealing with Kerry Katona’s cocaine cravings, she thinks Mum nose best.

Because hopeless cokehead Kerry was sold four grams of the drug by her own MOTHER.

And the sordid “keep it in the family” deal proves our shocking video of the reality TV star snorting cocaine was NOT a one-off lapse, as she tried to claim.

Self-confessed drug-user Sue Katona, 49 – who introduced Kerry to amphetamines at just 14 – sold her daughter the Class A powder two months BEFORE the video was filmed.

Last night, a pal of Sue’s said: “Kerry’s been taking drugs regularly since she split from Brian McFadden five years ago.

“After the video came out she said she’d taken the cocaine in a moment of weakness because it was a low point in her marriage. But that’s bull. She’s been getting drugs from anyone who will supply her on the quiet – including her mother.”

Mum-of-four Kerry sent a friend round to Sue’s two-bed terrace in Warrington to pick up the drugs in June – a whole month before the star’s big bust-up with husband Mark Croft over him groping strippers in Majorca.

When the pal arrived she was carrying Kerry’s 16-month-old son Maxwell, one of her two children with Croft.

Our source said that no money changed hands when the cocaine was collected. Sue’s friend revealed: “Her mate didn’t have the cash on her. Kerry settled up with Sue later.”

After being handed the “stuff” – wrapped in four separate packages and worth about £240 – the girl was instructed to stash them in different places in Kerry’s motor for the journey back.

The friend had agreed to drive the 19 miles from Kerry’s £1 million home in Wilmslow, despite the risk of arrest for possession – which carries up to seven years in prison. Supplying cocaine can attract a life sentence.

A pal of Sue’s, who witnessed the handover, told the News of the World: “It was like she had come round for some sugar!

“Kerry had called Sue earlier and asked if she could get her dealer to supply her with coke.

“She couldn’t be bothered to drive the half-hour journey herself so she told Sue that her friend would come and collect it.

“Sue was just glad that Kerry was speaking to her and letting her see the kids, so she agreed.

“Kerry’s mate flounced in the house with baby Maxwell in her arms. She asked Sue if she had ‘the stuff’. It was like it was the most normal thing in the world for her to pick up drugs for Kerry.

“As she shoved it in her bag, one of Sue’s friends said she should place the wraps in different parts of the car in case she was pulled over by the police.

“She didn’t seem fazed and said, ‘It’ll be all right,’ before waltzing out of the house.”

Sue’s friend decided to speak out after ex-hubby Brian said he would NOT fight for custody of the two daughters he has with Kerry, 29. The former Atomic Kitten singer still faces a second social services probe into whether she is a fit mother. Brian and his parents have accepted assurances from Kerry that the News of the World’s video was just an isolated incident.

They have agreed not to try to take away Molly, eight, and six-year-old Lilly-Sue.

But our source also revealed that Kerry’s friend has been getting her speed – a cheaper drug – when she hasn’t been able to afford coke. The bankrupt star lost her £250,000 Iceland contract last month after the cocaine video scandal.

Sue’s pal added: “Kerry likes the fact that her mate is into drugs. She just doesn’t see anything wrong in drug-taking at all. It’s just a normal part of her life.

“Kerry will also get speed when she’s trying to pretend to Mark she isn’t taking cocaine. Apparently it doesn’t make her look off her head.”

A spokesman for the star said: “Kerry Katona utterly denies these new allegations.”

We showed the same spokesman pictures of her snorting cocaine in her bathroom before we published them last month.

He denied it was Kerry in the pictures. The next week he helped her sell a story to another newspaper in which she apologised for her behaviour.
