For years her personal life and career were in free fall, but at long last, Kerry Katona seems to be pulling herself together.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 29, looked bright-eyed and radiant as she turned out at the Manchester Apollo to watch Peter Andre perform in concert.

She seemed more confident than ever, no doubt buoyed by her recent weight loss.

And as well as a few pounds, she has also lost one other dead weight – husband Mark Croft.

The former cab driver was widely considered to be a bad influence on the reality TV star, and he even admitted to treating her appallingly during their marriage.

The pair split after he accused her of having an affair with fitness instructor Kevin Green – which she denied.

But with their marriage now over, the mother of four is now desperate to resusitate her career.

She has just signed on with Andre’s management team, Can Associates, who took her on under strict conditions.

She has agreed to undergoing weekly drugs tests to prove she is off cocaine and to avoid all contact with Croft.

Claire Powell, who also managed Katie Price until her split from Andre, told the Sun: ‘Kerry knows this is her last chance.

‘There will be no drugs and no Mark. She has signed a legal document agreeing to that.

‘Kerry approached me six months ago to take her on but I refused while Mark was still around.

‘I do not believe he has been a positive influence on her. If she is prepared to work hard and stay clean she has a great career ahead of her.’
Kerry, who was declared bankrupt in 2008, is hoping to be back on television by the summer.
