Kerry, i just want to give you a hug.

Think you’re amazing the way despite all you’ve been through, you still smile.

Soo glad you are on the up, and am routing for you and your lovely kiddies all the way, you go girl.

I’m watching your programme tonight. All I can say is how grateful I am that my life isn’t under the public eye. There are so many of us with kids from different dads, who have messed with drugs and alcohol, messed up our lives romantically and financially and suffer from different forms of depression. I empathise completely and think you really need to give yourself a break. You are coping with so much more because you are in the public eye. I just hope you have true friends around you who will speak the truth and the truly supportive and caring. Good luck to you and I hope it all comes good for you x

  7. claragh, June 24, 2010:

no matter what headlines are in the papers about kerry, i still think she is a real role model, i have an aunt with bi polar and i no how hard it is, people putting her down because they say shes on drugs etc its a disgrace

  8. Disappointed, June 24, 2010:

This programme was so sad, Kerry is obviously screwed up as a result of her mental health issues, drug abuse, chaotic childhood and unsuitable marriages. I feel very sorry for her and hope she sorts herself out but should those children be with her? She’s just perpetuating the cycle of abuse she endured and they’ll end up losing the plot like her. I really do worry for those children and hope that social services are actively involved.

Just watched it… no, it doesn’t show you at your best, but I do believe you are a good person, and your life will change now for the better. Keep going Kerry, people love you out there!! All my love xxx

  10. zoe, June 24, 2010:

I think this documentary shows a family being “normal”. It was obviously a very stressful time and i think she should of carried on filming to show her coming out the other side. i think she has been through more in 29 years than most go through in a life time and there is obvious issues. But who wouldnt have having been through the same i just hope she continues on the path she is now on for the sake of herself and her children regardless of whether she has a man in her life or not. I wish you all the Luck and love in the world xxx

  11. Lisa, June 24, 2010:

I know you love your kids. Just show it to them. Yes, show them some love. Especially the little one. He needs it.

  12. Isabel Povoas, June 24, 2010:

Kerry a message for you. My childhood was very similar to yours, althouth I have never into care, I lived through hell untill i was 23, and then finally left home. When I had my child, I had a beakdown and started recognizing similar patterns of behaviour my Mother had with me and started seeing someone who help me focus on the future my happiness and my son, and finally left all that baggage from the past behind. Now im at Uni doing something I always wanted to do, and I think about myself and my children first and work very hard to keep a balance between keeping myself fulfilled and my son happy. I think you went throught a lot and think that thi might be a rought patch but if you keep focused it will all be gone and you will be able to be happy as well, and your children will enjoy seeing her Mum happy. Ignore all the negative comments about you and be strong. You know what you are worth and how hard you worked to get to where you are. Keep shinning always and beyond all those people who are determined to bring you down. Its a cliche but belive me, happiness is the best revenge! All the best.

    Isabel

  15. Sarah, June 24, 2010:

Hi Kerry, Watched ur documentary 2nite and i think with four children to look after u r doin a fab job. Loved the show as it is real and shows how devoted u r to ur family. I only have one daughter and love her to bits but its difficult enough with 1 let alone 4. It must do ur head in with the press stickin there noses in all the time when all they print is dirt to raise sum cash. In this show though u really show people how u deal with life as a celebrity and that its not all roses as some people may think. Really hope u r all ok and that u continue to do well in ur career. Love to u all, Sxxxx

  16. Mary Keogh, June 25, 2010:

I understand where you are coming from and wish you the very best of luck.

  17. bubbles, June 25, 2010:

I would not have broadcast on here about the show tonight, I have always looked up to Kerry and in later years felt sorry for her, this programme tonight made her look worse than ever, not due to bad reporting (it was very real and to the point) not due to rumours, paparazzi, ex’s or managers. It just show’s that Kerry needs serious help away from the public eye before she upsets her kids lives in the ways hers has been!!! Please Kerry put the kids first always!!!

  18. Ayo, June 25, 2010:

Just finished watching the documentary and it’s made me see her in a very different light. The show stripped away all the glamour and presented her as just a person who has the same problems and faces the same issues we all do.

I’m rooting for her and wish her all the best. She deserves to be happy!

  19. mr john mclean, June 25, 2010:

Hi having just watched the programme i was very pleased to see kerry sorting her life out and finally doing the right thing in splitting from her husband mark. The positives where her new found confidence and the work shes put in to turn her life around. The only negative was the way programme ended with a ruthless sacking of her nanny who has supported her for two and a half years and the ruthless way the channel 4 team where cut off who tried to put her back on the celeb map again even though it was for free this was an opportunity to give something back.
oops finally as a parent myself i dont think it was a good idea to have the children making comments and directly speaking to the documentary team.

Wish you good luck for the future

  20. Francis, June 25, 2010:

I can’t wait to see the documentary.. im so excyted!
Best wishes to your future kerry..

  21. cas, June 25, 2010:

Good luck sweetheart am glad you dumped the loser, what a horrible man the way he shouted at your babies. You will do very well with claire beside you.

  22. elle, June 25, 2010:

I am astounded with all the “well done” posts, here. While I do empathise with Kerry`s upbringing, and mental health problems, I am more concerned about the welfare of her children.
She chose to get pregnant, before ensuring her life was stable, and she continued to choose this for three pregnancies. Her children had no choice in being part of such a chatotic, sad lifestyle.
Many people have gone through similar experiences in growing up as Kerry (ie, her children), but most of us choose to take responsibility for and stabilise our lives before bringing innocent children into it.
The documentary just hypes up the stereotypes “Mentally ill people should`nt have children” “Mentally ill people should`nt be given independance” “The abused grow into abusers”.
I hope she watches it, and gets a huge reality check, that she so obviously needs.
    I

    Hey kerry
Just wanted to say how impressed I am. You have never looked better and you seem to have found the peace you’ve always been searching for. I know that life is full of up’s and downs but you look as if you are headed in the right direction. wishing you every happiness in 2011 .x

  26. Lauren, April 2, 2011:

I know what its like when you have kids with someone and they have been your life, it took me 2 and a half long years to get out of my relationship as its not as simple as get up and go. If only it was so simple. I empathise so much Kerry, good luck for your future, you are doing so well, although its not that its easy. For some reason people dont understand why we have still feelings for these idiots after they have hurt us so much. If only it was that simple xx
